The Accueil - Welcome Desk works with a network of partners to help you carry out your formalities and settle into academic life within the Toulouse education authority.

 

OCCITANIE PYRENEES-MEDITERRANÉE REGIONAL COUNCIL

The Occitanie regional council is committed to promoting economic, tourist and regional development. It offers a range of schemes and support for students in terms of transport, teaching, mobility, cultural and sporting activities, healthcare and housing.

CAMPUS FRANCE

Foreign students: are you interested in studying for a higher education degree, carrying out an internship or applying for a language trip in France? THE DIRECCTE

The DIRECCTE (Regional agency for businesses, competition, consumption, work and employment) works to promote the economic development of businesses and employment and improve quality of life at work and labour relations. Students wishing to change their legal situation to that of “employee” need to obtain approval from the DIRECCTE.

CAISSE PRIMAIRE D'ASSURANCE MALADIE (CPAM) (PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE FUND)

The CPAM is an organisation in charge of providing universal health insurance, both in the workplace and for personal health matters. French and international students need to register with the CPAM to make sure they are covered. More information about registering with the CPAM if you are an international student.

TISSÉO

Tisséo is the public transport network in Toulouse and the surrounding area. It serves 115 towns and villages and offers very advantageous rates for young people and students.

The CRIJ

The Regional youth information centre (CRIJ) is a space providing resources to support and advise young people in terms of career guidance and training, job seeking, housing and moving abroad. It posts job and internship offers, plus housing ads. More information about the CRIJ.

 

 

ACTION LOGEMENT housing association

Action Logement is an organisation that aims to help people find accommodation in order to increase their chances of finding employment. Among other schemes, it offers VISALE, a rent guarantor service for tenants. As a student, you are eligible for the VISALE guarantee.
