Finding a student mentor

Do you want to practise your French and discover French culture by meeting local students? Some associations offer student mentor schemes. The principle: get support and assistance from a French student.

 

The mentor scheme offers you support from a local student volunteer, who will help you get settled into your new town and carry out your administrative formalities. Having a French student as a mentor is also a good opportunity to engage in conversation, practise your French and discover French culture.

The Erasmus Student Network (ESN), the national, inter-university students’ association, runs the Buddy System, an online platform that brings together international students and local students as part of a mentor scheme. Find out more about the Buddy System.
