What is the Visale guarantee?
This is a guarantee run by Action Logement, free of charge and requiring no proof of income. It takes on the role of guarantor for you. It helps people get access to housing even if they do not have a guarantor.
Who is eligible?
Young people, students, people with a work/study contract aged 18 to 30 (inclusive), regardless of the accommodation for which they are making the request. This scheme is also available to anyone who rents accommodation via the temporary rental agreement bail mobilité.
For students, this guarantee is granted without proof of income for rents up to a threshold of €425. For rents higher than that amount, students must adhere to fixed conditions with a rent-to-income ratio of between 30 and 50%.
Request a Visale guarantee
To submit your request, go to: VISALE . After validation, you will receive a "certified stamp" proving that VISALE has agreed to be your guarantor, to be appended to your rental application.

If you do not meet the eligibility criteria for any of the guarantees, you can contact a bank or ask your landlord whether he or she agrees to let you pay several months’ rent up front.
